Never perhaps during the whole period of the country's independence has a more genuine and well-founded ground would have existed than what the virtual anarchy prevailing in Utter Pradesh under the stewardship of Mulayam Singh Yadav is warranting.It is the first time in the history of the state that there is total insecurity for law-abiding
citizens, unprecedented degeneration of law and order and rempant corruption which have turned the life of the common men into a hell.
Most glaring evidence of what the state is witnessing is that all the major politicl parties are vociferously demanding with a single voice about the dismissal of Mulayam Singh government, as they apprehend that under him the coming Assembly elections will be far from fair.The large scale manipulations and malpractices indulged in during the just-concluded civic bodies elections speak volumes in support of their apprehension. It is most shameful for a Chief Minister that he and his government are not only encourging the students with criminal record to resort to violence as is happening in Lucknow, but have also brazenly given a call of 'HLLA BOL' against the Governor whenever the later expresses his serious concern over the ongoing 'GOONDA RAJ ' in the state.
At this crucial juncture, the President of India must show no inhibition in dismissing this most unpopular government and impose the President rule so that there may be restored some semblance of Law and order, and the people of the state may seek riddance from the mafiosi and criminals.
