A grand and historic conference on Palestine
is being held in Delhi Friday (5 October - 3-6 pm) at the auditorium of the
Engineering Faculty of Jamia Millia

The conference aims at expressing solidarity of the Indian people with the beleagured people of Palestine whose rights and aspirations remain unfulfilled despite umpteen UN resolutions and Oslo accords which have allowed Israel to convert the Palestinian occupied areas into open prisons.
The conference is jointly organised by a number of main Muslim organisations in India including Muslim Majlis-e Mushawarat, Jamiat-e Ulama-e Hind, Jamaat Islami Hind, MOEMIN, Jamiat-e Ahle Hadees, Friends of Palestine-India, The Milli Gazette and others.
Speakers include Syed Shahabuddin, Shahid Siddiqui (MP), Manzoor Ahmad (former VC, Agra Uni.), Dr Arshi Khan (AMU), Zafarul-Islam Khan (editor, The Milli Gazette). CPI leader AB Bardhan is also expected to speak at the conference.
