for Civil Services Exam 2010
Entrance Test & Interview – 19 May 2009
On Tuesday, 19 May 2009, an Entrance Test and Interview shall be held from
9:00 am to 6:00 pm at God’s Grace School , Abul Fazal Enclave, Okhla, New
Delhi.
Interested candidates should apply only through email at info@zakatindia.org
using the form attached below giving the following details:
(i) Name, (ii) Gender, (iii) Date of Birth as per Class X certificate,
(iv) Father’s Name, (v) Postal Address (vi) Email Address (vii) Phone no.
(land) (viii) Phone no. (Cell) (ix) Educational Qualifications – (a)
Subjects, (b) Percentage of the marks in 10th/12th and Graduation, (c) the
year of passing and (d) institution attended (x) Details of civil services
examinations at which the candidate has appeared so far, subjects offered
and results of the exam. Please also attach scanned copies of (xi) your
recent passport size photograph and (xii) original mark sheets for each
examination. (xiii) Describe what both parents and other family members
are doing for their livelihood and (xiv) how much income is earned
annually by each member of the family including yourself (give separate
figures). The deadline for sending the email is 10 May 2009 midnight.
Candidates have to appear for written test of 1 hr 15 minutes and viva
voce (in English medium) as follows:
(A) Written:
(i) Objective Test (50 Marks)
Awareness about general issues – History/General Science/Social Studies
of high school level and newspaper based knowledge.
(ii) Essay - 150 words (50 Marks)
(B) Viva-Voce (50 Marks)
Selected candidates shall be taken under the joint guidance and care of
Zakat Foundation of India and Interfaith Coalition for Peace in order to
help them properly prepare for the Preliminary, Main, and Interview for
Personality Test for the Civil Services Examination including their
coaching in reputed Civil Service Coaching Centres of New Delhi and
boarding/lodging. Economically weaker candidates may be considered for
part sponsorship.
