Hawaii State of USA honours Islam

Take a minute to appreciate and support this gesture

The State Legislature of Hawaii State, the birthplace of President Obama, has passed a resolution marking Sept. 24 as Islam Day to recognize the "rich religious, scientific, cultural and artistic contributions" of Islam and the Islamic world.

Since the passing of the Islam day Resolution in Hawaii and because of its worldwide media cover, a vocal minority have been trying to put a negative spin to this resolution. As a follow up to the Islam Day article that appeared in Hawaii's Star bulletin on Friday, May 15, 2009 a poll was initiated asking if people approve or disapprove of this resolution.

Please take a moment to vote for this as many people will be looking at this poll for future strategies. It is very crucial that people supporting this resolution far exceed those opposing it. People opposed were far greater in numbers because they vote multiple times and they send it to all people that they know. Now the tide has changed and ‘Yes’ votes are leading in count.

Please take a minute of your time and join in voting a resounding "YES" to this poll. Please do this immediately and your efforts will be rewarded.
