Scholarships for Minorities in Karnataka

The Ministry of minorities - Karnataka, has called
for applications for pre metric, post metric and merit cum means
scholarship (2009 fresh and renewal) for minorities. The details and
application forms of the scholarships have been attached, please try to
submit as many applications as possible and convey this information to all
so that the funds allotted for minorities is not underutilized.
Details:
PRE-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS 2009-10 (FRESH & RENEWAL)
Applications are invited from the students
belonging to the minority communities (Muslims, Christians,
Sikhs and Buddhists) pursuing education from Class I to Class X
in Government/Recognized Private School/institute for Pre-Matric
scholarship to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs,
Government of India.
CONDITIONS: (1) Students who have scored not less
than 50% marks in the previous final examination. In case of
Class I students, 50% marks requirement will not apply, only the
income criteria will be applicable. (2) The annual income of the
students’ parents / guardian from all sources should not exceed
Rs.1 lakh.
POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS 2009-10 (FRESH & RENEWAL)
Applications are invited from the students belonging to the
minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Buddhists)
pursuing Class XI/XII (PUC), Vocational Courses in ITI/ITC/JOC,
Diploma (Technical & Paramedical), D.Ed, GNM, Graduation ( BA,
B.Com, B.Sc, BBM, BCA, B.Ed, B.P.Ed, BSW, etc..), Post
Graduation ( MSW, MA, M.Sc, M.Com, etc..), M.Phil & Ph.D for
Post-Matric Scholarship to be awarded by the Ministry of
Minority Affairs, GOI.
CONDITIONS: (1) Students who have scored not less than
50% marks in the previous final examination. (2) The annual
income of the students’ parents / guardian from all sources
should not exceed Rs.2 lakh.
MERIT-CUM-MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS 2009-10 (FRESH & RENEWAL)
Applications are invited from the students belonging to the
minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs and Buddhists)
pursuing Engineering & Technology courses (B.E, B.Tech, M.E,
M.Tech, MCA), Medicine & Paramedical (MBBS, BUMS, BAMS, BHMS,
MD, BPT, MPT, BOT, MOT, B.Sc Nursing, M.Sc Nursing, BDS, MDS),
Fashion Technology (B.FTech, M.FTech), Management (MBA, PGDM,
PGCM, Exec-PGDM), Pharmacy (B.Pharma, M.Pharma), Architecture &
Design (B.Arch, ID, BCT, PL, PGD), Hotel Management (BHM & CT),
Applied Arts & Craft (APD, FA,FAD), Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc &
A.H, PG), Chartered Accountancy (CA), Institute of Cost and Work
Accountancy (ICWA), Company Secretary (CS) and Law (LLB, LLM)
for Merit-cum-Means scholarship to be awarded by the Ministry of
Minority Affairs, Government of India.
CONDITIONS: (1) Students who have scored not less than
50% marks in the previous final examination. (2) The annual
income of the students’ parents / guardian from all sources
should not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh.
