Muffakham Jah College of Engg & Tech

Hyderabad: Muffakham Jah College of Engineering & Technology conducted its annual graduation day last month. The guest of honour Prof. S. Satyanarayana who said that students must exercise innovation and creativity while stressing the need to pursue internship in a reputed company to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Musharraf Ali Farooqui, a student of ECE department from 2009 batch, who secured all India 80th position in IAS exam in his maiden attempt, was also felicitated with a gold medal. Mr Zafar Javeed - Secretary, SUES congratulated the students while encouraging them to set goals and thrive to pursue them. MJCET was established in 1980. It offers engineering courses in eight  branches. It has been ranked 48th among top 75 colleges of India by Outlook Magazine for the year 2014.  A total of 672 students were awarded provisional certificates this year. (Syed Khaled Shahbaaz)
