Aligarh: A sword of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb was accidentally re-discovered at Maulana Azad Library, AMU during a re-organisation recently. Another piece re-discovered was a pen-stand made of sapphire gifted by the King Nadirshah of Afganistan to the AMU in 1933. These are part of 350 such peices including manuscripts which have now been put on display. A close look at the sword revealed a couplet in old Persian engraved on the sword in gold indicating that the same was presented to Aurangzeb.
