Commendable community service — Dr. Hameed Alig

Aligarh: Dr. Sa’ad Hameed, an Aligarian who after doing MBA from IMJ, became a senior manager in multinational company. After 5 years he got wealth, position, respect in this office but not an Islamic life nor mental peace and satisfaction. When the chances for further progress were very bright for him, he left his lucrative job in 2005 and made it his life’s mission to help Muslim students build a bright future in this highly competitive world.

In cooperation with the Director of AMU’s Coaching and Guidance Centre, Dr. Parvez Talib he devoted all his time and energy in creating proficiency in English and other professional subjects in different ways among the students and providing guidance to them on the basis of his own experience about work culture, with the result that in five years about 7000 students benefited from his professional guidance.

He also laid great emphasis on ‘placement training’ and invited about 25 MNCs to the AMU Campus for interviewing them. With his efforts and proper guidance thousands of students have benefited, and managed to get good jobs within and outside the country and many more are expected to benefit.
