Jamia Islahul Banaat now a minority educational institution

Mangalore: Jamia Islahul Banaat, Mangalore (Karnataka) has been declared, in a notification issued with the signature of R. Ranganath, secretary of National Commission for Minorities Educational Institutions, a central government-appointed Commission, a minority educational institution under Art 30 of the Indian Constitution. Founder and Rector of this institution, Qari Naseem Ahmad Mangalori, while thanking the central government for granting this institution minority status, said that this success has been achieved after a long struggle and prayers by Ulama and other religious leaders.
