Quaide Milleth Award For Probity in Public Life — Nominations invited


Chennai (15 January 2015): Nominations are invited on or before 5th February 2015 for the national award to be presented in the name of Quaide Milleth M. Mohamed Ismail Sahib, the great leader who lived as a role model for probity in public life. Nominees can be veterans in political life serving the nation with faith in the Constitution and commitment to social harmony.  One or more awardees shall be chosen from the nominations of living persons by the Selection Panel of eminent personalities. 

It shall consist of a cash award of Rs. 5,00,000/- (Five Lakhs only) and a plaque honoring the awardee. The awardee shall be selected on the basis of his life time contribution to probity in public life with deep commitment to India constitutional values, including Democracy, Secularism, pluralism inclusivism and concern for marginalized people.

The selected person must have an unblemished track record of integrity in political and personal life with a minimum period of 15 years in active political life anywhere in India.
