Chicken tikka handi - Recipe


Boneless chicken ½ kg cubes

Yogurt 1 cup

Onion 2 chopped

Oil ½ cup

Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp heaped

Allspice 1 tsp

Orange color pinch

Chili powder 1 tsp

Crushed red pepper 1 tsp

Salt 1 tsp

Lemon juice ¼ cup

Fresh coriander 2 tbsp

Green chilies 2 chopped



Blend together the onions with ¼ cup water, mix it with ginger garlic paste, allspice, salt, lemon juice, crushed red pepper and yogurt.

Mix it well, marinate the chicken with this for 30 minutes, heat oil in a handi, add marinated chicken with masala, cover and cook on low flame, when tender and oil comes on surface. Give dum of coal, serve garnished with coriander and green chilies. Serve with naan.
