4th South India NGOs Conference on 14-15 March in Bangalore

This years theme is Government schemes and role of NGOs in Civil Services coaching, health care benefits for poor, skill development and career guidance.

Bangalore (7 March 2015): CIGMA Foundation & LEAD Trust, Bangalore will be organizing the 4th South India NGOs Conference - SINC 2015 on 14th & 15th of March 2015 at The Canopy Hotel, Bangalore.  The Conference is an Annual event organized for the Social Workers and NGOs working in the field of Education, Health Care, Skill Development, Women’s Empowerment, Rural Development and other areas of work.

South India NGOs Conference has been a platform for interaction among the NGOs and also with the leaders in the Social Sector. This unique platform has given NGOs an opportunity to showcase their work and motivate others.

1st South India NGOs Conference - 2012

The 1st South India NGOs Conference was held on 15 January 2012 at Feroze Terrace Garden, Bangalore. It focussed on bringing all the NGOs of South India on a single platform to network, share and learn from each other. The then Senior Bureaucrats - Mr. Mohammed Sanaulla, IAS,  Principal Secretary, Backward Classes Department & Mr. Syed Zameer Pasha , IAS, Principal Secretary, Minorities Department graced the Occasion and also launched the CIGMA Bulletin Board & Lead Talent Search Examination 2012 Brochure.

2nd South India NGOs Conference - 2013

The 2nd South India NGOs Conference was held on 10 March 2013 at Feroze Terrace Garden, Bangalore and inaugurated by Mr. K. Rahman Khan, Minister for Minority Affairs. The Hon’ble minister in his speech gave a detailed overview of all the schemes of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. The other speakers included Mr. Navaid Hamid, Member, National Integration Council - New Delhi,  Mr. U. Nisar Ahmed, IPS & Former DIG, Mr. Syed Zameer Pasha - IAS, Mr. Khalil Ahmed, Chairman - Karnataka Zakat & Charitable Trust, Mr. Syed Mohammed Beary, Chairman - Bearys Group, Abdul Qadeer - Secretary, Shaheen Group of Institutions. The Conference focussed on the Role of NGOs in reaching the Government Schemes to the masses. Several Government Schemes were discussed and NGOs were given guidance on how to apply for such schemes and make them reach the needy people. More than 300 NGOs participated in this conference from all states of South India.

3rd South India NGOs Conference - 2014

The 3rd South India NGOs Conference was held on 8th & 9th March 2014 at Feroze Terrace Garden, Bangalore with the THEME - GOVERNMENT SCHEMES & FUNDS FOR NGOs “ OPPORTUNITIES & CHALLENGES”. This was the first time the conference was held for 2 days. The key speakers in the conference were Mr. Mohammed Syed Beary, Dr. Taha Mateen, Mr. Pramod Kulkarni, Mr. Mohamed Baktiar Ali Khan, Dr. Benazeer Baig, Mr. Maqbool Ahmed Siraj, Mr. Abdul Qadeer, Mr. Sherif Kottapurath & Mr. Iftekhar Ahmed sharief. Several NGO representatives from Kerala, Tamilnadu,  Karnataka & Andhra Pradesh  also spoke about their work and shared their knowledge.  The conference was a huge success as 312 NGOs participated for 2 days and spent time in learning and sharing from each other and the experts.

  3. Government Schemes became popular and NGOs started implementing them.
