SDPI-Gulbarga helps 270 kids get admissions under RTE Quota

Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) run Information and Empower Centre (IEC) was successful in getting admission for almost 270 kids from all over Gulbarga City, Karnataka in Right to Education (RTE) quota.

According to Incharge of the Centre, Syed Abdul Aleem Ilahi, the centre in past one month had toiled night and day and were able to submit applications for more than 500 kids.


Out of these 500+ applications, 270 got approved, the list of which was displayed on the board of IEC office.

Regarding the rejected applications the SDPI leadership said that it will take action soon. On the other hand, Abdul Aleem Ilahi, who supervised the campaign named "chalo padhen, aage badhen" focussed on form submission blamed the RTE submission procedure for both submission problems and the results. "We will take an action after reviewing the whole process once again" he remarked.

Parents who visited IEC appreciated the work done by them. One parent quipped "from providing information to counselling, submission of forms to display of results the Staff has shown tremendous discipline and hardwork. We are grateful to them."

SDPI District President Shaik Siraj Pasha was All praise to his team and hoped that the Centre will emerge as a centre for empowerment for the community.
