Yet another Hindutvawadi statement

Another controversial statement has been issued by the Hindu Mahasabha leadership in Haryana on 24 April, 2015. The state president of  Mahasabha, Dharam Pal Swatch issued a statement at Jind, declaring a prize of Rs. 5 lakh each and public honour for persons beheading Musarrat Alam and Swami Agnivesh. Swatch said that Agnivesh is a traitor of the country, that Sant Samaj has already excommunicated him and now it is the turn of  Arya Samaj to turn him out.

Detailing his complaint against Agnivesh, the Mahasabha leader said that Agnivesh went to Kashmir to meet Musarrat Alam, which amounts to treason. He said that in spite of putting on “bhagwa dress”, what Agnivesh is doing is a clear revolt against the country. Therefore, “our decision to honour the would-be killers of Swami Agnivesh and Musarrat Alam is a good gesture towards Hindu ideology, while the political parties of the country are out discouraging the Hindus.
