An Ideal Wedding in Kota

Extravagant weddings take place these days in which un-Islamic acts and rituals and performed which are adopted from other cultures. These acts promote immodesty, waste of food and money and put pressure on ordinary people to follow suit.

But there are people who hold Islamic values tight and follow them while some feel it is impossible these days to follow the modest Islamic ways. One such admirable example was established by Dr. Mohammed Naeem Falahi from this town. He married off his son and daughter in total compliance with the teachings of Islam. His son and daughter’s wedding was an ideal wedding in this town which left a strong impact on society and it would definitely encourage others to follow suit.

Saiful Islam, the groom, is pursuing his M.Tech. He totally supported his father in having a simple wedding according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh). There was no pompous ceremonies, no huge dowry and no dinner from bride’s side. He married the daughter of Mr. Shaikh Ismail from Nanded, Maharashtra. His nikah ceremony was held in in Chatrpura Masjid of this town on 21 May 2015 with a khutba by Qazi Anwaar Ahmad. The nikah of the daughter, Khansaa Naeem, took place in Takiya-wali Masjid, Behter in Sawai Madhopur, with a fabulous khutba by Hafiz Muttalib Mirza. The walima was held for  friends and relatives on 23 May. Dr. Mohammed Naeem Falahi’s gesture of implementing the teachings of Islam in our own lives will long be remembered by many here.
