Top 5 Challenges
No. 1 : Scanning of documents. Needs to be done at a Cyber Cafe or at school. It will take them atleast 30 mins to do a scan. If students go to Cyber Cafe they are vulnerable to anything.
No. 2 : Generally all scan documents are more than 100KB. Hence another trouble for students is to reduce the size of the image using another software.
No. 3 : Online Entry - 30 mins to 60 mins (Depending on Server Speed)
No. 4 : Locating the School based on the BEO Office it come under and Adding the School Name to the software if the school is not listed.
No. 5 : Last date to apply is 31 July 2015
CIGMA Foundation, the pioneering NGO for scholarships in Karnataka since 2007 which has processed more than 3,00,000 scholarship forms in last 8 years has designed a 8 Page Application form which captures all the DATA needed for ONLINE Entry. It includes the 3 formats - Student Declaration, Religion Declaration & Bonafide Certificate/Institutions Verification Form.
Benefits for Students, Parents & School
No. 1. Application with 40 fields captures all details required to do ONLINE Entry. Hence students / parents / schools are ready with DATA before they enter it ONLINE.
No. 2. Application has the 3 mandatory formats. Student need not visit the website to download. Hence save time and money.
No. 3. CIGMA does the ONLINE ENTRY of Forms at its Office for a nominal price saving time and money of students / parents. It also saves children falling prey to wrong things at the Cyber Cafes.
Invitation to NGOs
1. CIGMA Foundation is willing to share the knowledge and plan of action for filling the PRE-MATRIC ONLINE APPLICATION forms and also for Post Matric & Merit-cum-Means Scholarship which have the same procedure.
2. NGOs who have a set up - Computers, Internet, Scanners can start ONLINE HELP CENTER.
3. NGOs can take the 8 page form from CIGMA and distribute it to schools in their respective village, town and city.
4. NGOs must have computer operators - at least 2 who can work 10 hours a day and complete as many forms as possible.
5. NGOs can charge a nominal amount which covers the cost of salary, computers, scanners, paper, stationary, etc...
Post Matric & Merit-cum-Means Scholarship
The procedure to apply for Post Matric and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship is almost same as the Pre-Matric Scholarship for Class 9 and 10. The Notification for the Post Matric Scholarship and Merit-cum-Means Scholarship will also be released soon in next few days. Hence NGOs can plan to be busy with this project for next 2-3 months.

What happens if NGOs dont come forward ?
In the absense of NGOs which offer their services FREE OF COST or at  a nominal cost, many cyber centers will start offering this service and in process lots of innocent lives run the risk of unethical activities at cyber centers and leads to unwanted complications. Hence NGOs especially working with eduction must take this opportunity.
