Attend RSS shakha: M.P. chief minister

Bhopal: State chief minister, Shivrajsinh Chauhan, has “advised” state government employees and officers to attend Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh “Shakhas” regularly. He made this suggestion on the occasion of prize distribution programme for journalists held at Ravindra Bhavan. He reminded the employees that the Sangh inculcates the qualities of honesty, patriotism and hard work. Hence employees should attend “Shakhas” for character building. He clarified that the government had lifted the hurdles (i.e., the ban on government employees) in the way of the employees that caused obstructions. Acting leader of opposition, Congress MLA Chaudhari Rakesh Singh reacted strongly to the CM’s appeal and accused him of misusing his official position by pressurising government employees for attending Sangh shakhas.
