Bihar defeats politics of hatred and intolerance: Popular Front

New Delhi (08-11-2015): Popular Front of India Chairman KM Shareef appreciated the people of Bihar for defeating communal fascist forces in the state.

The mandate people of Bihar has conferred upon the Grand alliance is a testimony that people of India will not tolerate the forces of hatred for long and that they will protect secular system of the country against all forms of threats.
Within one year people are waking up to the fact that they have been duped by the colorful slogans and that all they got instead are violent gangs on rampage in various parts of the country killing innocent people in the name of cow protection shaming the whole nation.

In their attempt to silence dissident voices, many great personalities were brutally assassinated. Attacks against minorities dramatically increased during this period.

Intolerance against authors and actors became official policy of the government. Four Padma Bhushan Awards, 3rd highest civilian honour in the country, 40 Sahitya Academi Awards given to eminent literary personalities, 36 National film Awards were returned to Narendra Modi Government as a protest in just 18 months of BJP rule.

All these explain how despite the painstaking efforts of Prime Minster Narendra Modi and his right hand Amit Sha, BJP got very dismal results in the state. It is time to BJP led government in the centre and state and all rightwing groups to rethink their policies. It is also a victory of unity against divisiveness.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav led grand coalition with parties including Congress has won two third majority in the election.

The result is definitely energizing to all secular people across the country and a relief to the victims of fascism.
