MG: Yes, what you read is correct. We remain in financial doldrums. Unless Allah wills otherwise, it will continue since our community does not fully support such efforts and also because we refuse to stoop to tricks and lies used by media these days to collect money by hook or by crook. In short, we refuse to sell ourselves to any individual, party or country.

Sharai or Qazi's "Court"

In connection with the recent controversy over the model Nikah Nama, i.e., the one prepared by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board, the authoritative body of Muslims of India on Islam and matters connected with Muslim Personal law and the latest controversy about Imrana, some Muslim social reformers, outfits and Muslim intellectuals with little and scanty knowledge of Islam and not only question but condemn the proposal of the Muslim Personal Law Board abut setting up Sharia or Qazi "courts" decide about matters pertaining to marriage, divorce and inheritance among Muslims. Unfortunately, the National Press which is full of rage against this proposal of Personal Law Board is projecting these Muslim intellectuals, social reformers and outfits as the true exponents of Islam although by no standard or logic they can be considered as authority on Islam. In their zeal of denunciation and condemn the Board's proposal, both the so-called intellectuals and social reformers and national press conveniently forget that Sharia Courts or Qazis Courts have been functioning in Bihar from 1922, i.e.. for about more than eight decades and that these courts have also been functioning in various Indian states. It will not big out of place to remind the National Press about a great and memorable event about these courts when at the unity conference held at Allahabd in 1932, no Hindu leader had raised any objection to the Muslim proposal for setting up Sharia or Qazi Courts. Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya who can not be accused of appeasing Muslim minority was 'moving spirit behind this conference which was held in November - December, 1932. The Muslim demand about the setting up of Qazi or Sharia Courts was referred to a sub-committee by the conference and K. N. Katju, who later on became Defence Minister independent India and chief minister of Madhya Pradesh, was the Convenor of this Committee and Dr. Munje, the Hindu Mahasasbha leader, who always vehemently opposed the Muslim demand was a member of the committee and this committee accepted this Muslim proposal and this was finally accepted by the Conference. The Congress at its annual session held at Karachi in 193I had assured the minorities in a resolution of fundamental rights that minorities would be free to follow their personal laws and the Indian Constitution has also conferred this fundamental right of following their personal Law to Minority. So, why this hue and cry over the Sharia or Qazi "court" In a country like India which has a majority of non-Muslims according to Islamic Shariat Muslims have to follow the criminal laws of the country but they should have right of following the law of Islam in matters of marriage, divorce and inheritance.

Modi

Modi by undertaking the sudden and surprising tour of Lahore has proved that he has the authority to use his powers and he is not a puppet PM,Any way the mission started by Sushma Soworaj was going ahead in right direction. The doubts and fears which are existing since decades is being cleared slowly The fruit of this meeting and friend ship should entail in carelessness towards from the purchase of costly arms by both countries from Europe and America India is purchasing arms worth of billions of Dollars for Pakistan and crord rupees on Missiles In the same way Pakistan is following the same line of approach and investing crores rupees for arms and ammunition only for Pakistan. If the duo sow the seeds of confidence The meeting is fruitful and fetching We can use this large amount for the betterment of the farmers and downtrodden The two countries are purchasing major part of weapons from other countries depriving our masses

I want to request to the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, if you really want to see India as a progressive and developed country please stop seeing everything using the lenses of religion and stop supporting the religious fanatics." Naiyer is right. Modi, by promoting religious beliefs as law for India is actually doing great harm. It has been proven in history that a nation is weakened by following along this line. Modi is thinking more of his position as PM rather than what is best for India.

India's Foreign Policy failed

Pakistan Govt & Indian Govt want cordial relations between two countries, however there are powerful forces exists in Pakistan which dislike cordial relation between India & Pakistan. Indian Govt is being constantly informed that Pakistan Govt has no de facto power,Pakistan Army, ISI almost rules Pakistan, hence India instead for stop over for a cup of Tea at Lahore, should also take on Board Pakistan Army. However India neglects  India should now first decide, whether India is ready to hand over part of Kashmir to Pakistan, decision first be conveyed to Pakistan then discussion, meeting,Stop over for a cup of Tea should take place. Despite many representation made on above issue, Indian Govt ignored considering the same

Owaisi

I am aware of Indian politics which is sometimes bizarre. Re. Asaduddin Owaisi, I am trying to figure him out. I am looking for a good Muslim leader to take the Muslims/dalits and the poor Hindus forward. one who is prepared to use the Prophet's character and humane approach. India has a lot of poor people who needs help from the rich. My question to you is: is Asaduddin a good leader?

Ebrahim Matvad

letstalkpublications@gmail.com

MG: Asaduddin Owaisi is the leader of a political party, Majlis Ittehadul Muslimin, which is based in Hyderabad, Telengana. It is known as a "Muslim" party and contests from Muslim-majority seats. Of late, Majlis is trying to branch out to other areas. It tried this with some success in Maharashtra and utter failure in Bihar. Asaduddin's younger brother and Majlis leader in Telengana assembly is Akbaruddin whose fiery, communal speeches embarrassed his party as well as Indian Muslims. As a political party, Majlis uses tactics, good and bad, like other parties.

Saudi executions

Saudi judicial process should have imprisoned Sheikh Nimr for his political activities rather than executing him. The story is rather sad. Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr rose to international prominence during the pro-democracy protests that erupted in the country's eastern provinces in 2011. He made a big mistake in Saudi Arabia by his public speeches urging an end to the monarchy and pushed for equality for the state's Shia community even though he was careful to avoid calling for violence and was for peaceful opposition to the government. As his role in the protests became more prominent, he warned the Saudi authorities that if they refused to "stop bloodshed", the government's repressive tendencies risked it being overthrown. Saudi rulers considered this as sedition. As claimed, his execution violated free speech protections. The group went on to describe Nimr's arrest as part of a campaign by the Saudi authorities to quell all dissent. While in custody, his wife, Muna Jabir al-Shariyavi, died in hospital in New York, further galvanising sympathy for him. In turn, he began a hunger strike while human rights groups alleged he appeared to have been tortured and called for international support to allow access by family and lawyers. His execution looks similar to the brutal action taken by Gamel Abdul Nasser in executing one of the 20th century's greatest scholar Sayyid Qutb for his political ideas in Egypt in 1966. Political movements get stronger by the martyrdom of their strong leaders

Revamp BJP

After its defeat in Delhi and Behar elections, the BJP should overhaul the policy and attachment with Hindutwa Dalits Muslims, Christians Sikhs and Jainees should favour BJP in UP and other elections The BJP to to should revamp from top to bottom This is the right time to take bold action and correct the engine of the party If the party does not want any change or revamp it will collapse not only in Bihar but also in the next general elections: 1) free Kashmir and let the Kashmiris along with the POK establish one independent state. India and Pakistan should protect its sovereignty. It should become a buffer state. 2) The Babri Mosque should be constructed on its old place, The case from the Supreme Court be withdrawn. 3) All Muslim youth who are langishing in jails must be set free, No further arrests on suspicion should be made. 4) Muslims should be exempted from uniform civil code. 5) Ban should be lifted on cow slaughter as Dalits, Christians and Muslims eat beef. 6) Reservations should be given only to poor people of every religions. 7) Churches should not be attacked. In cases of rapes of nuns,  culprits must strongly be punished. 8) Inter-caste and inter-religious marriages should be allowed.  8) Relations with Pakistan and other neighbouring countries be normalised. This is the 9 point formula rather an elixir to BJP. If it does not accept this advice, this will be the last rule for BJP

Shiv Sena and terrorist attacks

It is seen that whenever there occurs a suicide attack by Pakistani suicide bombers, Shiv Sena being a member of NDA, criticises Modi and hits him left,  right and centre. Modi and BJP do not give a fitting reply to Shiv Sena on the ground of casteism. But just criticism against BJP is not enough. It should produce some suicide bombers in cooperation with with RSS. They should enter some army base and attack the Pakistani army. RSS & Shiv Sena are strong outfits but they cannot produce 10-15 suicide bombers. Yet they are perfect orators and verbose. They love their life more than the the country Their Desh Bhagti is secondary, their love of life is primary. Mr Advani has said long back that Hindus are a timid community.

One Abortion Every 4.8 minutes

Monogamy, marital fidelity and sexual abstinence are the weapons to fight AIDS The singer and political activist Bob Geldof (pictured), at a meeting of the British Labour Party, praised for AIDS policy stating that "monogamy, fidelity in marriage and abstinence are the most effective weapons to combat AIDS - rather, to ensure that the disease does not progress - ". Interestingly his position is not based on religious values, but on the finding that where this policy is not applied, AIDS continues to grow. When the 30th anniversary of the discovery of the causes of AIDS infection, the UN drafted a statement insisting that the means used to this day, have failed miserably. Official data on the disease are staggering: about 33 million people have died over the last three decades, and every day the virus spreads to more than 7,000 people worldwide. To cope with AIDS were employed last year, more than 16,000 million dollars in economic aid to combat this social evil. Moreover, Republican Congressman Chris Smith, provided indisputable evidence of the triumph that has gotten AIDS prevention in African countries when seated on abstinence and fidelity. From the House of Representatives, Smith drew a bill to revive the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS. The Department of State and the Department of Health and Human Services of the United States accepts the infallible measure of abstinence and fidelity in these programs, Smith noted that both attitudes have been an important factor in tackling the spread of AIDS virus in Uganda, Kenya and Zimbabwe. According to the journal "Science", the reduction of AIDS among Zimbabwean men between 17 and 29 years was 23%. Among women aged 15-24 years it was 49%.%. A U. S. Senate committee agree to increase the budget for programs against AIDS virus in Africa. Perhaps the largest effort was awarded to the President of Uganda, who managed to modify people's sexual behavior to prevent the danger of AIDS. The Spanish writer Julián Marías understood that "the main cause of this disease is the lack of sex life standards, standards that have always existed and through which men have behaved human and made possible what is called civilization."

Getting Trapped In Non-Issues

As the election in different states is approaching, the divisive forces will be trying to whip up communal passion. They will be instigating peace loving people by talking on disputed issues, vilifying certain religion, belief etc. We should never get emotional. Instead, we must react with intellectual reasoning and logic, with legal intervention. We must approach the law enforcing agencies to take action against the culprit. We must file Public Interest Litigation/s, if required. We should approach Court filing a criminal case for such communal and inflammatory actions/statements etc. If the government takes action against the culprit, we should move on and attend to our more serious concerns relating to backwardness, poverty, education, employment, social purification and other development works.

MTNL

For more than a dozen days, my broadband Internet connection provided by MTNL has been failing several times a day. I must switch off my computer and start it again to get the connection working. I have written both to the top person in MTNL and to the person in charge of the Trans -Yamuna area, but the problem continues. Nor does MTNL care that the same customer has been lodging complaints by IVRS every day for many days, sometimes two or three times in one day.

Ban advertisements of cola-drinks

Cola-companies voluntarily stopped selling cola-drinks in schools worldwide in view of increasing obesity in school-going children. It is surprising that Indian government failed to notice such harmful effects of cola-drinks and till now allowed sale of disease for children. Now since cola-giants themselves confessed harmful features of cola-drinks, Union Government should ban advertisements of cola-drinks because of hazardous and addicting effects of these drinks making children diabetic at young age. It is senseless to exempt cola-drinks from printing ingredients on their bottles in name of trade-secret when every packaged food commodity has to print ingredients on their packs. Earlier also, soft-drink manufacturers were asked to remove an oil from their products which was found to be harmful for health. Compulsory printing of ingredients on cola-bottles (including on refillable glass-bottles) will clear doubts about presence of any intoxicant or addicting substance in cola-drinks. Union government, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) and soft-drink manufacturers should revive drinks like old and famous rose- flavoured ones, which can not only replace cola-drinks in India but even dominate global-market by breaking monopoly of harmful cola-drinks.

Who wins when celebrities do advertising

The market research institute Human Brand Index presented his latest report. For unknown brands, usually to get that a famous appears on one of their ads in magazines is very important, because they can reach 12% of increase in purchase intent. It is also interesting to such brands that celebrities often talk about their private life (+ 11%), that they are generous (+ 9%), elegant (+ 9%), sweet and friendly (+ 9%). For known brands the main force of the famous is to have a sense of humor (+ 6%) and to be professionals (6%). Typically, the advertising world uses celebrities in order to capture the attention of consumers. One of the last to jump into advertising is a hard face of film: Sylvester Stallone (pictured). The protagonist of Rambo or Rocky make his advertising debut in the UK at the hands of the bread mark Warburton. Also, Nike has introduced a new advertising campaign. Entitled "Find Your Fast", it offers advantages for top athletes in the field. In this campaign have participated Rafa Nadal, Serena Williams, Wayne Rooney, Mo Farah, Kobe Bryant, Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Michael Johnson, Shelly Ann Fraser Pryce, Richard Sherman, Allyson Felix, Dion Phaneuf, Shane O'Neill, Marlen Esparza, Marcus Mariota and Odell Beckham Jr. They have joined together to promote Nike Air Zoom Elite 8 as the world's fastest shoe. Moreover, the former basketball player Michael Jordan claims $ 10 million to the company Dominick's for using his name without permission in a food commercial. The case will be heard in federal court in Chicago. David Beckham has long since hung up his football boots, but his withdrawal has not affected his coffers, which continues to fill with the revenues achieved from advertising. Now he is campaigning for the Haig Club whiskey brand. Guy Ritchie directed David Beckham in this new advertising adventure.

"ISIS terrorist organisation does not exist in India"

Wish to bring to your kind notice that these fascist forces have an inclination towards creating disturbance/s in the name of ISIS to prove their point of view and also to create an emergency like situation to achieve their sinister designs.
