Modest fashion talent search

Nagercoil (Tamil Nadu): Zywary Foundation, is holding here its first Modest Fashion Talent Search Contest dedicated to young and upcoming women fashion designers in India for the Muslim fashion world. ‘To be human, we must always think about others who have less than us and how best can we spark their dreams into reality. All dreams need some financial help and a platform to sell their products, said Rushdi Siddiqui, Chairman of Zywary Foundation, adding ‘we want to encourage the exploration of ideas, trends, expand borders and boundaries in the modest fashion. In promoting a better understanding of modest fashion, we want creative women to showcase how they interpret Modest Fashion, from conservative to contemporary.’

The contest is open for entries from Feb 3, 2016 through March 15, 2016. Official rules and entry criteria can be found at www.zywary.org.

Zywary Foundation was established in 2015 and is headquartered in Tamil Nadu. Its mandate is to encourage, empower, enfranchise women to ‘dream, design and develop’ their interpretation of Modest Fashion.
