Notice to physician for instructing patients to adopt Islamic principles

Jaipur:   A doctor working in a government dispensary in Bikaner has been accused of instructing patients to adopt Islamic principles along with the medicines they were given. After the complaint, the Medical Department has issued a warning notice to the concerned doctor. This complaint is reported to have reached even to the Prime Minister through a portal and he has asked for further details.

The doctor, Zameema Hayat, is at present working in a government dispensary of the city. She was reported by a number of patients earlier, which led the CMHO, Dr. Devendra Chowdhary, to issue her a notice, warning her to refrain from such activity. It is said that Dr. Hayat has been transferred a number of times earlier due to such complaints.
