Bridge Course in MANUU for Madrasa students

Hyderabad: Bridge Course has now been introduced for madrasa-passed students in Urdu University or Maulana Azad National Urdu University (MANUU), Hyderabad also, for two semesters of the acaddmic year 2016-17 in which two types of programmes are being run. In one type of programme there will be under graduate courses (for admissions in BA, B. Com, BSc), B. Tech Computer Science and in the other programme there will be arrangements for admission in Polytechnic programmes. For admission in Bridge Courses the age limit for boys is 28 years and for girls the age limit is 30 years. For admission in Bridge Course of Polytechnic, students who have passed the equivalent of concerned state’s Madrasa Board’s 10th class are eligible. After completion of the Bridge Course such students can appear for Polytechnic’s admission or entrance examination. Similarly, for admission in the Bridge Course of Under Graduate programmes and B. Tech it is essential that students should have passed concerned state’s Board’s 12th class or its equivalent examination. For admission in B. Tech, successful students of Bridge Course can take admission in its entrance examination, whereas in other departments admisions will be given on the basis of merit. Application forms will have to be submitted on line on University’s website www.manuu.ac.in.
