Efforts being made to develop Insan School into University

Kishan Ganj: After unsuccessful efforts in the past, renewed efforts are now again being made by Insan School management and Insaan Old Boys Association for Insan University. According to younger son of Padma Shri (late) Dr. Syed Hasan, founder of Insan School in Kishan Ganj, Shifa Syed Hafeez, Insan School was set up by his late father on 14 November 1966 and now preparations are being made to celebrate Golden Jubilee of this School and along with this once again efforts are being made to develop this once famous School into Insan University. Shifa Hafeez hopes that government will adopt a soft and sympathetic attitude in this matter (upgrading Insaan School to Insan University) and demands of the School management and Insan School Old Boys Association will be accepted. Hafeez said that there is no doubt that Bihar’s Seemanchal area has always been educationally backward and educational ratio of Kishan Ganj in particular is included among the lowest in the world and that is why (late) Syed Hasan, by setting up Insan School on 14 November 1966, tried his best to remove the ugly stain of low educational ratio and also succeeded in removing the educational backwardness of Kishan Ganj. He said that this is the first educational institution of the country which, without any assistance and help from the government, rendered invaluable services in the field of education and not only tried to strengthen the country but also gave hundreds of doctors, engineers, IAS officers, journalists to the country and that is why Indian governemnt honoured him with Padma Shri Award in 1991 but it is a pity that in subsequent days his educational services were forgotten but this shining star of education continued working for the success of its mission till the last breath of life. He said that he is happy to see that the dream of the progress of this region that his respected father had seen has been fulfilled through the Insan School. That is why Insan School’s importance is being felt today in the 25 states of the country and that is also why in order to make the function of making the Golden Jubilee of this School a historic one, Old Boys of this School from these 25 states have started coming and their useful advices and suggestions will be respected. He said that he is sure that very soon Insan School will take the form of Insan University in the country and that this region will once again succeed in writing a new history in the field of education.
