Minority community artisans exhibit, sell in Trade Fair

New Delhi: National Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (NMDFC), on behalf of union ministry of minorities affairs under its ‘Ustad’ scheme will be taking part in ‘India International Trade Fair-2016’ which is held every year in November. In this Fair artisans and small scale businessmen belonging to minority communities like Muslims, Christians, Buddhs, Parsis, Jains and Sikhs will be given the opportunity of exhibiting and selling their products, in addition to sale of their products in the market. Every artist / small scale businessman will be allotted individual / joint or common stall free of charge. The artistes and small scale businessmen who want to exhibit and sell their products in this Trade Fair will have to individually fill up an application form and send it to NMDFC which (form) are available at NMDFC’s website and can be downloaded from there. Completed or filled up application forms should be sent to Form Manager (H&A), NMDFC, First floor, SCOPE Tower, Lakshmi Nagar, New Delhi-110092. Please note that ‘Application for participation in IITF-2016’ must be written on the envelope. Last date of receipt of application is 25 October 2016. Please also note that by sending the application form on or before the prescribed date only (25 Oct.) will not enable you to become a deserving candidate for taking part in this Trade Fair. Candidates or applicants honoured with state or national awards will be preferred. Selected artistes will be informed about the date etc. by NMDFC at the appropriate time.
