AMU Murshidabad Academy

Aligarh: Raees AMU Murshidabad Academy has been set up in AMU centre at Murshidabad. Inaugurating this Academy on 4 November AMU engineer, Prof. Anwar Khurshid said that establishment of this kind of Academy here was necessary for providing education and training to school students in computer. Speaking about bridge course for Madrasa students in AMU Aligarh, he said that madrasas are the biggest source of education in the country but these have not been recognised (by the government). Laying emphasis on providing modern education in madrasas he said that it is essential not only for the progress of Muslims only but for the country also. Director of AMU’s Murshidabad Centre and President of Raees Academy, Prof. Badruzzaman said that credit for setting up this Academy fully goes to AMU administration. He said that the condition of school education is not good inthis region and hence for the progress of school education and also of the region, increased resources are needed. He said that this Academy will provide not only computer education but also knowledge about internet to school students.
