Where do the Palestinians live today?

The following map published by Beirut-based Al Zaytouna Palestinian research centre has published this infograph showing where the Palestinians are living today. It is based on the statistics provided by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics of the Palestinian Authority. The infograph shows that the total number of the Palestinians is 12.7 million and they are scattered as follows:

West Bank: 2.97 million

Gaza Strip: 1.91 million

Occupied Palestine (1948 areas): 1.53 million

Arab countries: 5.59 million

Rest of the world: 695,000

Total: 12.706,000

In comparison, the population of Israel in 2014 wa approximately 8.2 million, with 75 percent of the population being Jewish Israelis.
