Muhammad Isa ANWAR — 8 year old sports genius

Eight-year-old MUHAMMAD ISA ANWAR, a 4th standard student of St Marks Sr Sec School, Janakpuri (Delhi) appears to be a sports genius. At this young age he has already appeared in many state-level gymnastic tournaments. At the tender age of 4 only he joined gymnastics in JL Nehru Stadium and thereafter an account of his achievements is: Won a Gold Medal in 47th Delhi State Gymnastics Championship in 2008, again won Gold Medal in 48th Delhi State Gym Championship in 2009 and also stood first and was adjudged as the Best all-round gymnast in floor exercise. In Talent Search Competition he won a Gold Medal along with a cash prize of Rs 2000 from Directorate of Education (Sports Branch), Delhi government. Won three Gold Medals in 49th Delhi State Gymnastics Championship held in Delhi in Feb 2010 and won Rs 2500 scholarship from Directorate of Education (Sports Branch) of Delhi government. In August 2010, he won a Gold Medal in Zonal Gymnastic Championship (under 10 years) organised by Delhi Gymnastics Association which is affiliated to Gymnastics Federation of India and Delhi Olympic Association. With his regular practice and dedication, he aspires to win a Gold Medal for India in Olympics.
