Jirga of ulama says suicide attacks are haram

Mir Ali (North Waziristan): About 300 ulama and theological experts while condemning all kinds of terrorism. A joint declaration was passed in a Conference held at north Waziristan that suicide attacks are haram. This information was given by media. The Conference was held in Madrasa Nizamia here on 21 June in which terrorists were cautioned against unlawful activities. They were also warned against terrorist activities and all those who were/are complicit in the recruitment of armed fidayeen and imparting training to them in terrorism were strongly condemned. Foreigners who take part and indulge in violent and terrorist activities were also cautioned. While strongly condemning all kinds of terrorist activities they were told in this conference that they can live in north Waziristan in a peaceful way only.
