Muslim girls Inter College at U.P.'s Sant Kabir Nagar District

Mumbai: Al-Haj Hafiz Ali Memorial Society has decided to start Sant Kabir Nagar (U.P.) district's first school and college for Muslim girls in Dharam Singhwan village. Society's Chairman Muhammad Aslam Khan said that the foundation of this school and college was laid on 5 June and building work will be undertaken after the rainy season. According to him, Civil Engineer Obaidullah has made the plan of this double storeyed school-cum-college building which will have 27 rooms including office, management office, staff room, conference room etc with an estimated budget of Rs 76 lakh. Since the Society doesn't have so much an amount Aslam Khan says that if people of Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Basti etc take interest, difficulties will be solved.

He said that though there are many schools and colleges, there is not a single school or college for girls for modern education with Islamic environment in the entire district and that is why we have taken this initiative. However, unless we get people's cooperation, success is not possible. Society's Vice Chairman Jamal Ahmad Ansari said that after promoting education, we want to work in Tibbi field on a large scale and for this we have project of a hospital. He made an appeal to people of Sant Kabir Nagar, Siddharth Nagar, Basti etc living and doing business in Mumbai, Bhiwandi etc to cooperate and help in these ventures according to their status and capacity.
