Twenty Chinese engineers working in Saudi Arabia embrace Islam

Makka: Among the thousands of foreign engineers, technicians and workers who are working on Saudi Arabia’s Al Mashire railway project, 20 Chinese engineers have very recently embraced Islam. It may be stated that a large number of foreign engineers and technical personnel who have been working on different projects in Saudi Arabia have embraced Islam individually or in groups from time to time and now their number runs not only into hundreds but into thousands. With these 20 Chinese engineers there are now about 2000 foreign engineers, technologists and workers who have embraced Islam. About 6000 foreign engineers are working on this project which is one of the many projects for improvement of the transport system in the country.

At the project sites in Saudi Arabia mosques have been built for offering namaz. Makka Cooperative Office for Dawat i.e. tabligh has made special arrangements for imparting Islamic teachings to Chinese neo-Muslims for whom special arrangements have been made for teaching the method of offering namaz, teaching of Arabic language and listening of speeches of Chinese Muslim scholars.
