M.P. BJP to woo Muslims

Bhopal: With the 2013 Legislative Assembly polls in mind the BJP has chalked out a strategy to woo Muslims so as to ensure its third successive win at the polls. In the meeting with the executive in Ujain last month the state chief minister had emphasised the necessity of involving the Muslims in its schemes. With this strategy in mind the state BJP chief Prabhat Jha and C.M. Shrivraj Sinh Chauhan had an Idd Milan meeting with the people on 31 August. The response of the community was overwhelming, because for the first time the leadership stepped inside Muslim localities and spent twelve hours. Inspite of heavy down pour people not only attended in large numbers but continued to stay on, braving rains, at a programme organised by the Muslim community to felicitate the C.M.  Now a similar programme is proposed at Indore under the leadership of BJP leader Arif Beg R.S.MP in which a 30,000 kilometres yatra will be undertaken which will cover the entire state (125 constituencies of the state in a period of four days).
