Anticipatory bail application of inspector rejected

Mumbai: Mumbai session court dismissed the anticipatory bail application of accused Inspector of police Arun Borude in case of rape of a minor. The dismissed inspector was also involved in the slain Khwaja Yunus case. According to prosecution the inspector alongwtih his friends had been forcibly committing rape of the 15 year old minor for a period of one year. The girl became pregnant and delivered a child. When the matter got publicly exposed the police dismissed the inspector and his colleagues.

In his anticipatory bail application the accused pleading non-guilty submitted that he had been made a victim of a conspiracy for exposing several crimes. The perpetrators of these crimes got him falsely implicated in the aforesaid case. The prosection, however, held that the accused was involved in the crime and had been molesting the girl for a year.
