Togadia demands death sentence for conversion

Pravin Togadia of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad while addressing the final day of the three day Akhil Bharatiya Dharmaprasar Karykarta Sammelan on 9 November in Ahmedabad sought the death sentence for those trying to convert Hindus to other religions. Togadia further said that anti conversion measures have always been a priority and also the reconversion of converted Hindus from Islam and Christianity. The sammelan was held close to Pirana Dargah which is run by a trust having Muslims and Hindus as its members. Togadia also said that conversion is being carried out only because of the appeasement politics and nothing else.
