Milli Council condoles Rashadi and Mauji Khan

Delhi: All India Milli Council condoled the sad demise of Mauji Khan and Maulana Reyazul Rahman Rashadi during a condolence meeting held at Institute of  Objective Studies conference hall on 20 Nov 2011. Rashadi was a founder member of All India Milli Council while Mauji Khan was  the treasurer of the  Council. The demise of the two active community social workers was described as a great loss for the community which will be difficult to fill. At the meeting speakers recollected their personal experiences with Mauji Khan and remembered him as an untiring, active person helpful to all without any discrimination and having a great concern for his own fraternity and for all Muslims. Mauji Khan was remembered for his special qualities to solve social emergenceis thanks to his administrative skills as he had spent all his life in Police and retired as Assistant Commissioner of Police Delhi. Speaking at the meeting, Milli Council General Secretary Dr Manzoor Alam expressed his deep grief on the demise of  Maulana Reyazul Rahman Rashadi. He remembered his long association with him and his contribution to the Council. In the meeting a host of people from all walks of life were present to pay homage to two of their community leaders, well-wishers and supporters. The meeting was presided over by Maulana Hakeem Muhammad Abdullah Mughisi, President of Milli Council. Prayer was held for the peace of the departed souls at the end of the meeting.
