Bhatkal: A new book, Learning and Beyond by Shazia Saif was released here 24 December. The ceremony was presided over by Dr S A Khan, former scientist, DRDO, and released by Syed Khalil. The ceremony was held at Bhatkal Rabita Society. Around 250 persons attended the function. The book was introduced by its author while reviews on the book were presented by Dr. Naganagouda, Asst. Director, Sri. Narayan, Dy. Superintendent of Police and Dr. Krishna Prasad, Professor, PA College of Engg, Mangalore. The book is a compendium of effective study tips and techniques tested and practiced by meritorious students and the author herself. The practices dealt with are useful to the students community to succeed in their student life. Reviewers said this book is not only good for students but also useful for other people as it teaches the art of life and success.
