Short-term courses for women launched

Mumbai: Aisha Bai and Haji Abdul Latif Charitable Trust in collaboration with the SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai, has launched a few short term courses for women. After completion of these courses successful candidates shall be awarded diplomas by the SNDT University. The courses are for those women who are not highly educated. The various vocational courses would make women economically self-reliant. In a press release the following courses are enlisted: 1. Sewing 2. Machine embroidery 3. Crochet 4. Fancy work (fabric painting, mehndi, zardozi work and ribbon work) 5. Decorative work (pot decoration, flower making and glass painting).
