29 Muslim students succeed in KVPY competition

Bangalore: Prestigious All India Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojna competition organised annually by the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, had more than one-and-a half lakh competitors this year out of which 1037 were declared successful. Among the successful candidates 29 Muslim students were able to secure positions. Among these, two students, receiving coaching under Rahmani 30, managed to clear the test – Amanullah Ansari and Kamran Ashraf. Though apparently 29 seems to be too small a number but it becomes creditable in the sense that this is for the first time so many Muslim students could crack the test.
