Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajioon [Surely we belong to God and to Him shall we return]. His self-less contributions to the community are numerous. "The tragic passing of Sirajbhai Tirmizi, one of the founders of Gujarat ToDay and Lok Hit Charitable Trust marks a deeply sad moment for all, especially the Muslim community nationally and internationally,"said Dr. A.R.Nakadar, Trustee of AFMI.  "His voice of understanding and compassion for those in Gujarat and in India, who were afflicted with illiteracy, prejudices and injustices will miss him greatly. He was a progressive individual who worked tirelessly in promoting socio economic emancipation of the community through quality education. He became champion of the masses through his constructive policies for eradication of illiteracy, human welfare and stood for social justice.
