5th International Islamic Book Fair starts today in Delhi

Today 5th International Islamic Book Fair of Delhi will be inaugurated at 4.00 pm. Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Ghulam Nabi Azad is expected to grace the inauguration of the fair along with Rajya Sabha M.P. Rasheed Masood.
Like the previous fairs, this time also it is being jointly organised by Alhasanat Books and India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. The fair will be for 11 days and will go on till 2nd October.
The fair shall have books from Malaysia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Beirut, U.S.A. and U.K. besides of course India. The organisers plan have a section for Children Books and Games, said Dr Faisal Faheem of Alhasanat Books.
Books in English, Urdu, Hindi and Arabic on topics ranging from Islamic History, Hadith, Quran, Fiqh to Management and Computer Sciences.
Islamic CD & DVDs, Novelties, Hijab, scarves & Tughra will also be on sale.
The venue has a prayer hall and food court. The fair attracts people not only from cities neighbouring Delhi but also from far on cities, said Mr Shahzad of Alhasanat Books.
