PFI denies SIMI links

New Delhi: The Popular Front of India (PFI) has denied any links with the banned Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) and claimed that it was working for the down-troddens. It refuted the reports that SIMI was regrouped as PFI. In a statement it clarified: “In the past 20 years, we have been serving the society by several social works. At present we are functioning in 10 states. We don’t have any connection with SIMI.”
