Qur’an in Marathi at literature festival in Mumbai

Jamaat-e Islami Hind (JIH) Mumbai along with Islami Marathi Publication displayed 185 books on different topics at the recently concluded Marathi literature festival in Thane. Books on different issues including the Marathi translation of Qur’an were displayed at the book stall. Books on the life of Prophet Muhammad (pubh), women’s rights in Islam, Islam and terrorism, and Jihad were the centre of attraction of the visitors. People of all age groups and from different fields visited the stalls and bought books. Eleven hundred copies of the Marathi translation of Qur’an were bought by the visitors apart from books on other topics. More orders were placed by the visitors. Visitors were also explained that Qur’an is not only for the Muslims but it is for all mankind.
