Nawabgarhi panchayat takes commendable decision

Meerut: Nawabgarhi in Sardhana tehsil of Meerut district has made a few commendable decisions towards reforms. The Muslims have resolved that there shall neither be D.J. (song-dance) nor fireworks during marriages. Those who transgress the panchayat dictate shall be heavily fined and shall also suffer social boycott. Every minor using mobile or anyone listening songs on mobile shall lose his mobile as well as he will be fined. Everyone present expressed unanimity. D.J. would attract a penalty of Rs 5100 while fireworks will bring a fine of Rs 1100. Misusers of mobile phones shall have to pay Rs 2100.
