Mumbai: Thirteen-year-old Armaan Jaffer of Rizvi Springfield School of Bandra (Mumbai) broke all previous records in school cricket when he scored mammoth 498 runs on 22 December while playing for his school against Raja Shivaji School of Dadar (Mumbai) at Karnataka Sports Association grounds. In his 498 runs in 490 balls, he hit 77 fours. Son of Kaleem Jaffer and nephew of Wasim Jaffer, a former opener in Indian test matches, Armaan was caught behind wicket.
