NIA would investigate Goa blasts

After registering a case in connection with Goa bomb blasts against Hindu extremist outfit, Sanatan Sanstha, National Investigating Agency (NIA) has begun a probe to crack the perpetrators of the crime. NIA has sent a team to Goa to get details of the blast in Margao area in which two people were killed on 16 October 2009. One member of the outfit had died when  a bomb he was carrying on his scooter had exploded.

Available reports said that it is the first case of Hindu terrorism in which evidence had been gathered. Several activists of Hindu extremist outfit Abinav Bharat have been arrested in connection with Malegaon blasts including Sadhvi Praghiya Thakur, Col. Prohit and, Swami Diyanand Pandey. Reports also revealed that Pragya Thakur accused of Malegoan blast may be involved in the Goa blast case also.
