Hindutva Terror trail: Samjhauta Express to Modasa

New Delhi: The National Investigation Agency has now conclusive proof of the role of Hindu terror groups in the Samjhauta Express blast as well as in the Modasa blast. It is contemplating filing chargesheet by naming Aseemanand as the conspirator for propounding “bomb for bomb” theory. The Haryana police, which was investigating the train blast could not connect the blast with other blasts; though the modus operandi was common. The matter became complex with an American agency’s hint of involvement of Asif Kasmani, a Pakistani extremist, in the train blast. Asif was believed to be an LeT operative. However, after Aseemanand’s confession the jigsaw puzzle is no more a mystery. Though it has created some embarrassment to Indian intelligence agencies who fear that after filing of chargesheet Pakistan might demand extradition of Aseemanand. However, the NIA has decided to go ahead in the matter. Cops believe that Dange and Joshi were helped by Shyam Sahu, Dilip Nagar, Dharmendra Bairagi, Shivnarayan Singh, all belonging to Hindu Jan Jagran Manch, operating around Indore and Dewas in Madhya Pradesh. NIA sources say that Dange and Kalsangra have fled from their MP hideouts.
