Medical camp in Azamgarh

Azamgarh: A free medical camp was organised here at Kaonra Gohni village near the town of Saraimir on 28 April. A team of physicians participated in the camp and offered free services to the people of the area. Dr Mohsin Raza of AMU inaugurated the camp which saw the participation of Dr Javed Akhtar, Dr Furqan Ahmad, Dr Ameer Alam, Dr Muhammad Azfar, Hakeem Shahid Badr, Dr Fayyaz Ahmad, Dr Kamaluddin, Dr Sharafuddin, Dr Ehtesham of AIIMS, Dr  Jahan Ara, Dr Rubi Fayyaz and Dr Homa Sadiq. The camp was organised by Shah Mohammad Mustafa Memorial Charitable Trust. Free medicines were offered by Venice Drugs India Pvt Ltd and Dr Reddy Laboratories. A total of 950 patients benefited from the free camp.
 

The special guest on this occasion was Mohammad Adeeb, MP. A message of the patron of the trust, Frank Islam, was read on the occasion. Frank Islam, who is on Obama administration's Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Small and Minority Business, stressed on the need of education and announced that he is committed to offer best technical education to girls. Mohammad Adeeb laid the foundation of Qamrunnisa Memorial Girls Technical College, an ITI, which is being built by Frank Islam in memory of his mother.
