Khurshid promises to take care of detentions

Mumbai: Salman Khurshid, union minister for minority affairs, said that he was in constant touch with the ministry of home affairs about the plights of those who were detained on false charges. “In wake of new confessions and discoveries in investigations, it is evident that the case of those who are under arrest since the blasts took place need to be seen on humanitarian grounds,” he stated. He informed that the proposed “Communal Violence Bill contains provisions which addresses issues of arrests and detention of innocent persons.”
