Road named after Sikandar Bakht

New Delhi: Nawab Road in Bara Hindu Rao area near Sadar Bazar was named Sikandar Bakht Road in his memory. He was a former MP, freedom fighter and a former central minister in Janta Government headed by late Morarji Desai. At a function held on 11 February, President of Delhi state BJP, Vijendra Gupta praised the services of Sikandar Bakht and said that he was a leader with unblemished record. BJP’s young leader Imran Ismail also praised Sikandar Bhakht’s selfless services. On this occasion Sikandar Bhakht’s niece Mrs. Tajwar Begum was specially invited.
