J&K police interacts with stone pelters to fight social evils

In an attempt to eradicate social evils the Jammu and Kashmir police organised a get-together with the stone throwers. More than 150 youths were arrested last year during unrest. These youths participated in the meet and were asked to give suggestions that can help to fight social evils. According to police officials, “The youths were involved in the exercise and were eager to play a role for the well-being of society. They offered their services to stop drug peddling and the moral degradation in society. We promised to offer them career counselling and establish a youth club and a library.”
