Another accused in Goa blast arrested

Mumbai: Prashant Juvekar, 24, another accused in Goa blast case, was arrested by the Maharashtra Anti Terrorism Squad at Bhusaval in the Jalgaon district on 31 July. According to ATS, Prashant was one of the four wanted accused belonging to the Sanatan Sansthan who had conspired to plant bombs in Goa in October 2009. While, Malgounda Patil and Yogesh Naik died before they could plant the bombs on 16th Otcober, Juvekar was absconding for the last few months. The ATS team succeeded in nabbing him on July 31 and have informed NIA to secure production warrant. Having received terror training at Madgaon in August 2009, Javekar was the main conspirator, said ATS chief Rakesh Maria. The police recovered from him a 7.65 mm factory-made pistol with four live rounds.
